Since 2020, we have collaborated with NABCEP to deliver world-class certifications in solar PV across the Caribbean. This partnership has led to the training of more than 2,300 technicians, creating a skilled workforce ready for the renewable energy transition.
Locally, we partner with AVEC and the Office of the Prime Minister to equip at-risk youth with hands-on training leading to NVQ, CVQ, and NABCEP certification. These collaborations are shaping pathways for meaningful employment in renewable energy.
Through engagement with IRENA’s programs, GSI has advanced the conversation on sustainable energy in small island developing states, ensuring our region has a global voice.
Working with the Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC), we have expanded solar PV and electric vehicle training opportunities across the region. This partnership strengthens utility workforce capacity and supports the region’s transition to cleaner, more resilient energy systems.
